"SURPRISE-DRIVE" (Japanese: SURPRISE-DRIVE, Sapuraizu Doraibu) is a song performed by the limited-time music group Mitsuru Matsuoka EARNEST DRIVE.
About the song[]
The band was consists of Mitsuru Matsuoka of SOPHIA as vocalist, tatso of everset as guitarlist, Jun-ji as drummer and Ikuo as bassist. The Maxi-single CD "SURPRISE-DRIVE" was released under the avex trax label on December 3, 2014.
It was the opening theme song for the 2014-2015 TV tokusatsu series Kamen Rider Drive. This is the third time Matsuoka performed the song for the Kamen Rider series, following SOPHIA's song Cod-e ~E no Ango~ (Used as the ending theme song for the direct-to-video tokusatsu Kamen Rider W Returns: Kamen Rider Eternal, where Matsuoka stars as Kasumi Daido/Kamen Rider Eternal.)
On the arcade platforms, the song was first introduced in the Japanese version of Taiko no Tatsujin: Kimidori Version since version 11.06 update and in the Asia version of Taiko no Tatsujin: Murasaki Version since launch. It was first introduced in Taiko no Tatsujin: Don and Katsu's Space-time Adventure as a DLC song on the console platforms.
