Taiko no Tatsujin 3 (Japanese: 太鼓の達人3, Taiko no Tatsujin Surī) is the third Taiko no Tatsujin arcade game released on March 15, 2002.

Gameplay[]

Along with the additional songs, the 3rd arcade release is the first to introduce balloon note, as well as the battle mode between two players. Instead of having their own Tamashii gauges, both player shared one and hitting the notes will increases the tamashii meter while misses notes will have tamashii meter reduces. The player who have the longer tamashi gauge meter at the end of the song win.

Starting from this arcade, logo of the difficulty is shown on the gameplay screen.
