Taiko no Tatsujin DS: Touch de Dokodon!(Japanese: 太鼓の達人DS タッチでドコドン!, Taiko no Tatsujin Dīesu: Tatchi de Dokodon!) is the first Taiko no Tatsujin game to released on Nintendo DS. It also marks the turning point for the franchise as it bring many features that are not in the past titles.
For the first time ever, it features Don's room, a central hub of the side options of the game. Also introduced is the ability to change Don's body color and clothing. The daily dojo mode was introduced since this game, where player can ranks up by completing challenges.
This game take advantage of the touch-screen input function of the Nintendo DS, as such, Touch de Dokodon!, and in extension all subsequent Taiko no Tatsujin games on DS and 3DS were comes with a pair of styluses known as Bachipen to take advantage of this.

Trivia
- A game-breaking bug was discovered in that, where all three save slot were used up and all three Dons have constume other than the default one, the game freezes on the title screen and won't load any thing. This was fixed in 2009, when Bandai Namco Games (Now Bandai Namco Entertainment) announced that anyone with the defective game can trade it in for the updated version for free.
