Taiko no Tatsujin Portable DX (太鼓の達人ぽーたぶるDX(デラックス)) is a 3rd and final installment of Taiko no Tatsujin game on PlayStation Portable.

The game introduces features from other Taiko no Tatsujin games that were not included with the previous Portable titles. Also included is the story mode.

This is the last Taiko no Tatsujin game on PlayStation platforms to be released until the release of Taiko no Tatsujin: V Version for PlayStation Vita in July 9, 2015.

The base game comes with 70 songs, 36 of which are Namco Original songs. The song list can be expand with the total of 110 DLC songs.

It is also the first to introduce the random and S-random modifier, as well as modifier stacking. However, bell note was removed from this release.

Story Mode

The main mode, the Nationwide Omikoshi battle mode, is the story mode where you play as Don to defeats dojos across Japan. The gameplay in the story mode is similar to the boss battles of the Taiko games on Nintendo DS.
